Join us for the
20th anniversary Blue Cup!
Since its first outing in 1991, the Blue Cup has seen several changes of governments, two recessions, a new currency (remember the Drachma?), several wars and many natural — and man-made — disasters.
It has not only survived but grown from a modest weekend jaunt into a respected & much loved international event, where many nations (14 in the last event) meet annually in friendly rivalry to race yachts between islands in the Saronic Gulf of Greece.
Chartered yachts, all Beneteau-built, mix island passage racing with round-the-cans in a route whose detail changes every time. |

With an average of 350 sailors in some 50 yachts each year, the Blue Cup attracts entrants from all over the world, many of whom are by now old friends. This year's 20th anniversary will see many previous crews reunited, alongside new crews racing and celebrating together.
Fun racing is mixed with cocktails, dancing and partying at every port of call, each of which has a special welcome for sailors with receptions, parties and prizes for each day's racing. This year, even more prizes for sometimes surprising contests — some still secret — will add to the fun of the event. |
